Learning that grows with them
From sticky hands to strong voices, each step brings new discovery and a sense of wonder
Early Childhood
Where wonder begins
At Schechter, children ages 15 months to 5 years grow through play, music, movement, and friendship. Every day brings new chances to explore, connect, and feel part of a joyful Jewish community.
The Curriculum
Our youngest learners build early literacy, numeracy, and self-care skills while discovering Hebrew, Jewish holidays, and traditions. Through stories, play, small-group work, and close relationships, they learn to listen, speak, read, and write—in both English and Hebrew—and gain confidence as learners and friends.
Elementary School
Big ideas grow here
In Kindergarten through Grade 5, students explore their passions, whether they’re writing stories, solving math puzzles, or diving into Torah study. They build the confidence, and skills to grow as thinkers, teammates, and kind community members.
Middle School
Ready for what's next
In Grades 6 through 8, students stretch their thinking, find their voice, and deepen their sense of self. Our middle schoolers take on academic challenges, lead with kindness, and shape a Jewish identity that’s their own.
What began as a small Jewish day school has grown into Greater Boston’s largest, serving over 400 students, offering 3 school divisions, and creating a seamless journey from Early Childhood through Grade 8.
With expert teachers, dual-language instruction in Hebrew and English, and a balance of strong academics and Jewish studies, Schechter offers an education that’s as rigorous as it is joyful.
