Admissions

Start your child’s Schechter journey today. We look forward to learning more about your family!

3 Steps

Step 1 – Start

  • Submit an Inquiry form and we’ll reach out to schedule a time to connect.

  • Join us for an Open House or a private tour at a time that works best for you.

    • Register here for an upcoming Open House: Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. or Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 9:30 a.m.

Step 2 – Apply

Applications are due January 31, 2026 for the school year starting in September. Once you create an account in our portal, SchechterHub, you will be able to submit an admission application; request teacher evaluation(s) from your child’s current teacher(s); upload report cards, IEPs or educational testing results (if applicable) and immunization records.

Step 3 – Student Visits

  • For children applying for Kindergarten & Grade 1:
We’ll set up a “Getting to Know You” visit with our team.

  • For children applying for Grades 2–8:
Students spend a Visit Day shadowing a peer and completing academic assessments.

Key dates

  • Admission and Financial Aid Applications Due: Friday, January 31, 2026
After this date, we move to rolling admission based on availability.

  • Admission Decisions Shared: Monday, March 10, 2026

  • Enrollment Contracts Due: Tuesday, March 31, 2026

Tuition & Financial Aid

  • Tuition is an essential component of our annual budget, supporting approximately 72 percent of our annual expenses. We continually strive to balance affordability with the costs of implementing our outstanding educational program. We share comprehensive welcome packages that include the tuition obligation for all complete admission and financial aid applications.

Moving from Israel

  • At Schechter, a connection to Israel is deeply rooted in the curriculum. While living in the United States, Israeli families know that being at Schechter means their children will learn or improve their English while maintaining native-level Hebrew and feeling tied to family back home, to the Israeli mentality. Schechter is a soft landing that makes this big transition exciting and smooth.
